62ruepicpus, a community created in the aftermath of "The Great Tumblr Purge" of December, 2018. This community is meant to be a Dreamwidth space for fans of the novel Les Misérables by Victor Hugo: it is for sharing fanwork, ideas, reclists, news, and more. It is intended to be centered around Les Mis fans who focus on the canonical setting of Les Misérables, being the nation of France from approximately the years 1795 to 1835 (during the French Revolutionary age, the Napoleonic Empire, the Bourbon Restoration, and the July Monarchy, with some wiggle room).* Welcome & Friending Meme *

Fanwork of all sorts is allowed here! Fanfiction, fanart, filk, meta, headcanons, cosplay, and whatever else can think of are welcome and encouraged, as are recommendation lists and the sharing of graphics and icons. This community is for fanwork as much as it is for discussion and socializing, so everyone should feel free to comment on each other's posts and engage in meaningful interaction. Please follow the tagging guidelines, and do refrain from making many posts in a short period of time, but otherwise, the sky is really the limit.
That said, the sky is defined. Content related to fan-created AUs set outside of that of the Brick is not particularly welcome here. Discussion of adaptations is certainly allowed, but the discussion should be focused more on Les Mis itself than, say, Queen's Theatre dressing room drama or complaining about awards show decisions. Fanwork and discussion of/about "Canon Era Fusion" AUs, canon divergence, what-if scenarios, and the like, are also okay.
